WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING...

Wolf Aircraft is extremely proud of what past and present clients have to say about the work completed.

1932 GEE BEE R2

Wolf Aircraft designed and built this Gee Bee R-2 replica for Delmar Benjamin.  Completed in 1991, this Gee Bee has made thousands of performances all around the globe.

WOLFPITTS

The Wolfpitts is a highly refined Pitts S1S.  Starting from scratch, Wolf Aircraft designed and built the Wolfpitts which includes, Wolfpitts wings with aerodynamic ailerons, squared wing tips, reshaped tail, flush canopy rails, carbon fiber annular inlet cowl and rod type landing gear.

Sean Worthington's S1-11B N111PU:

"When I started my Pitts S-1-11B in late 1997, I did it with the intention of creating the highest quality homebuilt aerobatic aircraft I could. Four years later, when my wife and I had our first child, my project stalled at the Ò90% done and 90% to go stage."

Not wanting to see all my hard work and dreams sit stagnant in the garage, I contacted only one builder, Wolf Aircraft, in the hopes that they would complete my project.

I chose Wolf Aircraft because of their excellent reputation for tackling unusual challenges, fine craftsmanship and unparalleled knowledge of all Pitts aircraft types. Now was not the time in the project for me to relax my quality standards. I was rewarded in January of 2003 with an aircraft that not only met my expectations, but also my dreams.
In retrospect, while Steve Wolf is probably best known for creating wooden masterpieces in his wings, I was extremely impressed with his ability to create beautiful, complex shapes out of aluminum where most would have to resort to fiberglass. This not only saved weight, but also made the plane that much more special since this is an almost-lost art form. Look closely at wing root fairings and the engine induction inlet, they are both formed out of aluminum! Wolf Aircraft’s attention to detail is unequaled.
Working with Wolf Aircraft has also been a collaborative joy. In some areas of the remaining work, I had a very clear idea in my mind how I wanted something completed. In other areas, I was open to suggestion. In both cases, Steve was very eager to discuss, or suggest, a course of action that that led to a finished product where I would not change a thing. I always felt that my satisfaction with the final product was most important to Steve.
Wolf Aircraft is about innovation, craftsmanship of the highest order, and customer satisfaction. In a world where so much attention is paid to how little can be done and get away with it, it has been an absolute pleasure to work together with Wolf Aircraft to finish an aircraft that I expect to be as proud of 10 years from now as I was the first day I flew it.

Mike "Spanky" Gallaway:

My first experience with Steve Wolf and the Wolf Aircraft company was certainly a positive one. They delivered on time and within budget. I had Steve install new Wolf wings on my experimental Pitts S1-T and the roll rate is incredible. The wood leading edges are nice, and the ailerons are very well balanced. Paint and finish are a perfect match to my fuselage. I will certainly recommend Steve to my friends in aerobatic community"

"In addition to the Wolf wings, Steve installed a smoke system, a new MT propeller, and performed an annual inspection. All facets of the work are top notch, no problems."
